Be more confident in your Future by Letting us do the math.
You shouldn't have to struggle to figure out if you'll have enough money to retire, and if you let us plan for you, you won't.
You'll get a different level of service with us.
We're committed to keeping our client household-to-advisor ratio below 100:1. Advisors commonly have a thousand clients or more, which makes it virtually impossible to develop the level of comprehension that individualized advice requires. What this means for our clients is:
Personalized Attention: We have the capacity and intent to thoroughly understand your unique goals, values, and life circumstances. Our advice is tailored, not templated. You won't receive generic responses to your questions or be left feeling like you've fallen through the cracks.
Stronger Relationships: We aim to be a trusted partner in your life, someone you can turn to for guidance, perspective, and steady support when decisions feel overwhelming.
Proactive Service: We meet with you at regular intervals, staying engaged and aware of what's ahead.
Thoughtful Planning: We go beyond surface-level planning and into the parts of your life that matter on a deeply personal level, like legacy, charitable giving, and life transitions (even the tough ones, like a divorce or the loss of a loved one).
You’ll love working with us if…
- You value an experienced guide helping you navigate critical financial decisions.
- You want a long-term investment approach that isn't driven by headlines or emotion.
- You appreciate well-reasoned conversations that help you make clear-headed choices.
- You care about your time, your energy, and how long you want to keep working.
- You're kind. We genuinely enjoy working with good people.
- You want to be a good steward of your money.
You won't love working with us if…
- You're not comfortable with a primarily digital experience. We meet via Zoom or phone. Most paperwork is delivered through email and eSign.
- You thrive on financial drama or react to every headline. Feeling concerned at times is normal, but you won't enjoy how quickly we extinguish the noise.
- You're looking for "get rich quick" opportunities. Our approach is steady and disciplined. Perhaps you may feel more comfortable clicking on Facebook ads to develop your investment strategy.
- You're looking for someone to cosign high-risk or impulsive ideas. We're not going to validate it; we're going to tell you the truth.
- You don't want an advisor.
How we work together
We begin with a conversation to understand what you need and whether we're a good fit for each other. If we move forward, the first step is crafting a financial plan. Over several meetings we:
- Gather information (accounts, statements, etc.)
- Clarify your goals and what matters most to you
- Build and present your custom-fit plan
- Implement the plan
What does it cost?
Financial Planning
We'll estimate the time required and provide a quote in advance, based on an hourly rate of $400.
Plans rarely take less than:
- 6 hours for a single person with a straightforward situation
- 10 hours for a typical couple
Investment Management
If it makes sense for us to manage your investments after your plan is in place, we typically do so through advisory accounts.
Here is our standard advisory fee schedule:
- 1.5% for the first $300,000
- 1.25% for the next $700,000
- .75% over $1,000,000
- .70% over $10,000,000
- .60% over $20,000,000
- .40% over $50,000,000
- .25% over $100,000,000
This equates to approximately a 0.94% advisory fee on a $3 million dollar portfolio.
Meetings
We typically meet with clients 2-3 times per year, depending on their needs. At each appointment, we help you implement your financial plan, defend your wealth, maintain the course, pivot as the need arises, and help identify and avoid financial mistakes that would potentially cost you years of extra work.
If you feel like we might be a good fit, reach out to us and we'll schedule some time. We look forward to meeting you!
